1st day
Depart in the morning in 4×4 from Ouarzazate for the gorges of the Dades and the Todgha via the Skoura palm grove and its Kasbahs. Then, the journey continues by road to El Kalaam’gouna, capital of the damascina rose and place of manufacture of the daggers from the Jewish tradition,
It is through the Valley Of Roses and its sublime panoramas on the ochre and pink mountains cut by the oued Dades which gives life to a luxuriant vegetation to which many small traditional Berber villages cling, that we will reach the gorges of the Dades for lunch.
Possibility of hiking (Valley of figs).
Return to the road to reach the gorges of Todgha.
day 2
After breakfast, walk in the gorges of the Todgha and discover the luxuriantpalmeraie of Tinghir which stretches for nearly 30 km. From its source , which springs from rocks in the gorges, water from the river is distributed throughout the palm grove through irrigation channels .
Return to the road in the morning, heading east towards Tafilalet, where the wadis Ziz and Rehris also walk and water a huge palm grove. Lunch in Erfoud known for its Goniatite quarries (fossilized black marble).
It is then that we will head due south by the track to Merzouga and the dunes of the erg Chebbi, some of which reach 250 meters of height. Camel ride (1h) to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the dunes and join our bivouac for dinner and overnight,
3rd day
On waking, return by camel to join the hostel in Merzouga to have breakfast and a shower,
Departure for Zagora via Rissani (birthplace of the Royal Alaouite Dynasty), Alnif, Tazarin and N’kob where we will have lunch.
In the afternoon, continue to Zagora along the Drâa Valley.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
4th day
After breakfast, departure to Tamegroute about 15 km from Zagora to visit its Koranic Library founded in the 17th century then the workshops of manufacture of the very particular pottery with green enamel of Tamegroute,
Resumption of the road to Ouarzazate via the old road of caravans in order to approach as close as possible to the outside of the palm grove that runs along the valley of dudraa and its villages in Pisa,
Lunch near Agdz in the Kasbah of Tamnougalt.
From Agdz to Ouarzazate the landscape is transformed to become on the last 70 km almost exclusively mineral, crossing the JbelTifernine, eastern foothills of the Anti-Atlas, region of barren mountains and extraordinary cliffs
Arrival in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight,
