New Years eve 2019

an unforgettable evening in the middle of the desert, under a starry sky, around a large campfire, animated by the rhythm of Berber and Arab songs, darbouka and djembe of young nomads as well as traditional Berber music propitious to dance.

Day 1 : 30 Dec : Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Agdez – Zagora – Mhamid

Appointment early in the morning 7: 00, departure in 4×4 to m’hamid through the Tizi-N-Tichka, continued to join the kasbah Tamdakhte and that of Ait Ben Haddou and then arrival to Ouarzazate, where we will take the lunch, Departure to Zagora, enroute visit the city of Agdz, panoramic view of the Draa valley, continue along the valley to Tanskhirt end of the track.Direction m’hamid on the road stopping at Tamgroute to visit the koranic library if desired ) , underground kasbah and pottery making.Continue to M’hamid arrive at M’hamid bivouac, for the evening and night .

day 2: 31 Dec: m’hamid-the oasis-Chegaga

Ride on the back of a camel after breakfast, for an hour then departure in 4×4 by a sandy track for the big dunes of Chegaga, the biggest dunes in Morocco, lunch in the shade of palm trees or tamarisks, in the afternoon resumption of the track towards Chegaga.towards the Bivouac of chegaga to climb the highest dune and watch the sunset,
In the middle of the Desert, The New Year’s Eve party takes place partly in the large caidale tent restaurant, for dinner at the table and partly outside around the campfire for aperitif and evening entertainment …
A superb traditional dinner will be served, including a traditional soup “Harrira”, a méchoui (whole sheep cooked in a special oven, smothered: festive specialty) couscous, and dessert “seasonal fruit basket” (included : mineral water and 1 bottle of wine for 3 people). Moroccan tea and pastries during the evening.
Animation: evening with nomadic folklore, Sahrawi music, typical of the desert where we find the inspiration of African rhythms (conducive to dance) played by the young people of the village. Night in comfort bivouac.

Day 3 : 01 Jan : Chegaga – lake Iriqui – foum zguid – Taznakht -Marrakech

Departure for Marrakech by the track between the erg of Chegaga and the dried bed of Drâa passing by the iriqui lake, then by FoumZguid and follow the road via Taznakht. Return by road to Marrakech, with desarres during the day between Taznakht and Marrakech before arriving at the hotel.
