Tour Marrakech Chegaga-4 days

Marrakech – Zagora – Tamegroute – Mhamid – Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Marrakech

Day 1 – Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora

Departure in 4×4 from Marrakech to discover the Tichka pass (2260m of altitude) and its magical landscapes towards the South. Afternoon continue to Zagora. We cross the mountains of the small Atlas by the col Tizi n’tanifeft (1660 meters of altitude). Arrival at Agdez to take the track that leads to the kasbah of Alkaid Ali in Tamnougale. Visit of the kasbah. We continue the trail through the Draa Valley and the beautiful palm groves and ksour up to Zagora. Dinner and overnight at hotel or camp .

Day 2 – Zagora – Mhamid – Chegaga

After breakfast departure to Amezrou to visit the ancient kasbah of the Jews and manufacture of jewels. Then departure to Tamegroutto visit the Koranic library and the making of green pottery, the underground kasbah. Lunch in Mhamid, then departure in 4×4 by a sandy track with a small stop in the hamada of draa to see the fossils, continuation to reach the dunes of Chegaga. First in a dromedary, to watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight in a nomadic tent or under the stars.

Day 3: Chegaga – foum zguid – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then breakfast. Departure for foum zguid with the possibility to visit the nomads passing lake iriqui and the desert plateau dotted with acacia trees. Picnic in an Oasis for lunch.
Departure to Ouarzazate via taznakhte, lunch at. Arrival in Ouarzazate around 17h00.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel or in a beautiful riad

Day 4 – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast departure for the visit of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt, the film studios, then towards Ait Ben Haddou, lunch on the spot, after noon visit of the Ksar classified as world heritage of UNESCO. We take the road through the village of Merzgane and the village of Ighrem, small stop at Tadarte. Then follow the road to Marrakech crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass.
